Jacky is the founder of Smile Dental. Graduating from the University of Otago in 1995, he comes with a wealth of experience in both community and general dentistry. He loves the variety of work in general practice and does his utmost to ensure that dental visits are as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
In 2008, he obtained his UCLA / Gide 1 Year Master Programme of Dental Implant Dentistry in Los Angeles. Jacky looks forward to provide the highest level of dental care to all his patients and would be happy to chat through the advantages of dental implants, and how they could dramatically change the way you smile and even the way you live.
Jacky and Smile Dental is committed to latest technologies, such as Cone Beam 3D CT / Digital imaging / CEREC CADCAM one visit all ceramic restoration / Laser Dentistry; and strives to ensure that all his patients benefit from the most up to date techniques in dentistry.
As a Christian, he completed his Diploma in Mission at Carey Baptist College in 2002 and also involved in oversea dental mission trip as well.
When he is not in the surgery, Jacky will go flying! He is a New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority , B – Category Flight Instructor, and spend most of this spare time sharing his passion and knowledge to his students and club members. Apart from flying, his interests also include, St. John Volunteering, Church, playing in his Band, and Tennis.
